Happy Fall everyone! I will refrain a bit from my basic-ness and telling you how much I love this time of year, especially with a kiddo. Fall crafts, pumpkin patches, and other city festivities are all great ways to entertain your toddler. Isla is at the age where she’s still experiencing everything for the first time, so it’s that much more exciting and magical.

It’s around this time that I try to get some fall and christmas wardrobe shopping done for Isla. I try to coordinate basics and staples along with some fun prints and statement pieces. Because we live in San Diego, her fall and winter wardrobe is essentially the same, we just add a warm vest or jacket.

This shirt is the cutest. I wish I had purchased it in both colors while Old Navy still had them for sale. The bell sleeve is so trendy right now and even cuter on my toddler. It matches perfectly with some white shorts while it’s still warmer but I’ll also pair this top with some adorable flare jeans (*squeals*) for when it gets a bit cooler. I think Old Navy only has this shirt in size 2T, but I linked some other similar tops at different price points.

When I shop for Isla, I try to only buy items that can pair with most other pieces. Sometimes that really cute wacky colored is tempting but if I know it’ll ONLY go with a pair of white shorts, then I try to resist. Try to pair each piece with at least 2 other options and you’re set! Below I linked a lot of the options I bought for Isla. I really try to stay with neutral tops and get fun with the bottoms, shoes, and vests. Happy shopping!
